This contract opportunity offers an engaging mix of high school, technology center, and elementary school environments from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, for a full 37.5-hour workweek.

This role focuses on providing direct and consultative speech and language services primarily at a high school and career & technology center, with an additional day each week at a local elementary school. Your expertise will empower students to reach their fullest potential by fostering communication skills essential for academic and life success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Maryland (MD) Speech-Language Pathology license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based settings or with school-aged children
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to a multi-site schedule and work independently across campuses

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech services
  • Provide research-based direct and consultative therapy to diverse student populations
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting as required by the district and state
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team assessments, and professional development activities
