Make a positive impact working with students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist in an elementary school environment. This contract position offers a singular focus on creating supportive, growth-centered speech services for young learners and is ideal for professionals who excel in a school setting. The assignment runs through May 2027 with a consistent weekly schedule.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow accepted
  • Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (eventually both required, but either accepted for now)
  • Open to Speech-Language Assistants with GaPSC certification
  • Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students within a school environment
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for effective communication with students, teachers, and families
  • Onsite services required; virtual or hybrid options are not available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary students in accordance with their IEPs
  • Assess, diagnose, and support students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and the student support team to track progress and set intervention goals
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation as required by school and district guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings regarding student progress and interventions
