Inpatient Staff Pharmacist | Paterson, New Jersey

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A hospital is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations during a 13-week contract assignment starting September 8. The position is located in Paterson, NJ, and offers a weekday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists with at least one year of inpatient experience and proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify medications accurately for hospitalized patients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy plans
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC EMR system
• Participate in medication reviews and inventory management

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Willingness to travel; local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
