Step into a vital role supporting K-12 students as a part-time school psychologist in northern New Jersey. This contract opportunity offers flexibility—choose any 2-3 weekdays that work best for your schedule while making an impact on student well-being throughout the school year.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with educators, families, and school leadership to assess students’ needs, contribute to intervention strategies, and help foster a positive learning environment. The position is structured for approximately 20 hours per week and provides the chance to work across multiple school sites, serving students from kindergarten through high school.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist license in New Jersey
  • Experience working with K-12 age groups, preferably in educational settings
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Understanding of educational law and IEP processes

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and interpret data for K-12 students
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop educational plans
  • Provide direct counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Serve as a resource for teachers, parents, and students regarding behavioral and academic concerns
  • Maintain thorough documentation and support compliance with district policies
