School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Belfair, Washington

This full-time, on-site contract opportunity is designed for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working across multiple buildings within a district-wide caseload near Belfair, WA, for the 2026-2027 school year.

As a key member of the special education team, you will provide hands-on occupational therapy support to students, helping them succeed academically and functionally in school environments. Flexibility and a spirit of teamwork are critical, as you’ll be traveling between various schools to address the unique needs of a diverse student group.

Qualifications:

• Active Washington COTA license
• Current NBCOT certification
• Special education or school-based experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work full days (7 hours) for a total of 35 hours per week, on-site only
• Reliable transportation for travel between multiple school buildings

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in student IEPs
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized plans
• Support student learning, participation, and independence in classroom and other school settings
• Document student progress and communicate results to IEP teams
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive educational experience for all students district-wide
