What You’ll Bring:

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license issued by the State of Florida
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred, especially K–12
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel between multiple school locations within Hendry County (site assignments provided before the school year begins)
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families
  • Strong organizational abilities and professional time management

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy support services to students in accordance with IEP goals, under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Collaborate with educators and IEP teams to adapt school environments, recommend classroom modifications, and promote student participation
  • Work closely with parents, staff, and other professionals to facilitate and document student progress
  • Provide direct and consultative OT support, utilizing evidence-based practices within school environments
  • Participate in meetings, evaluations, and staff trainings as required
