School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Evans, Georgia

Step into a rewarding, in-person opportunity making a direct impact on students’ communication skills. This position is essential in supporting K-8 learners (with a focus on K-5), helping them overcome articulation, language, and fluency challenges. You’ll be working up to 20 hours per week on a part-time, contract basis just outside Augusta.

Key Qualifications:

• Active SLP license in the state of Georgia
• SLP-CCC required
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Comfortable working primarily with K-5 students
• Skilled in diagnosing and treating articulation, language, and fluency disorders

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services, individually and in small groups
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement IEPs
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with all relevant guidelines
• Offer consultation and support to families and classroom educators
• Engage in team meetings as needed to discuss student goals and outcomes

Please note: At this time, supervision for Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) is not being offered for this position.
