Step into a dynamic educational environment and help make a measurable difference in students’ lives as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to work across multiple schools within a district-wide K-12 caseload. You’ll engage with students, educators, and families to deliver essential therapy services tailored to each student’s unique needs.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Washington State COTA license, current and in good standing
  • NBCOT certification required
  • Previous experience in a school-based or special education setting preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel between multiple school buildings daily
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commitment to supporting students’ occupational therapy goals

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and other team members to provide direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy interventions designed by the supervising OT
  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills needed for success in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and sessions
  • Communicate regularly with staff and families regarding student development and strategies
  • Attend team meetings and contribute insights to support a collaborative educational environment
