Step into a pivotal school-based contract opportunity supporting students’ success and well-being as a School Psychologist near Burnsville, MN. Two unique roles are currently open in a collaborative educational setting, where you'll have the opportunity to provide direct support, impactful evaluations, and consultative guidance to school communities.

The first opportunity is a part-time position beginning September 8, 2026, and running through June 10, 2027, at the West Education Center. The role is scheduled for 16 hours per week (.4 FTE), offering a steady and predictable schedule across the school year.

The second opening covers a maternity leave, starting October 5th with an end date to be determined. Hours per week are still being finalized; there will be no work required during the winter break. Candidates interested in this position will be notified as soon as hours are confirmed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid school psychologist credentials and eligibility to work in a Minnesota educational setting
  • Previous school-based experience
  • Successful completion of agency onboarding and district-required background check
  • Reliable transportation for daily attendance
  • Strong professional references and good standing in prior school-based placements
  • Ability to work within designated school schedules and assignment duration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting psychoeducational assessments
  • Participating in IEP meetings and behavior intervention planning
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and administrators to support student success
  • Providing direct counseling and mental health services
  • Supporting crisis intervention and consultation as needed
