Job Description
Make an impact by supporting students’ well-being and success as a valued School Psychologist serving multiple elementary and middle schools in the area. This long-term, on-site contract provides the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educators and shape positive outcomes for young learners.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology required
- Valid Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) Tier 3 or Tier 4 School Psychologist license
- Strong background in assessment, counseling, and consultation in an educational setting
- Ability to work effectively with students across a range of backgrounds and developmental stages
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments to guide individualized education plans
- Deliver counseling and intervention services to students, promoting emotional and academic growth
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective support strategies
- Lead or participate in team meetings regarding student progress and needs
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in line with state and district standards
- Support a positive, inclusive, and safe school climate
- Serve as a resource for staff on behavioral and emotional development
This onsite position will run until May 28, 2027, encompassing a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. You'll work with a varied caseload across multiple school sites, ensuring that each day offers both meaningful challenges and rewarding experiences. Compensation is competitive, with hourly rates ranging from $47 to $52.
