Make a difference in K-12 education while expanding your experience as a physical therapist in a dynamic, contract-based setting near Paterson, NJ. This opportunity spans multiple schools within a district-wide role, providing the chance to work with a diverse student population and collaborate with supportive teams. This full-time assignment runs from September 4, 2026, to June 25, 2027, with consistent weekday hours from 8:30AM to 3:15PM.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Current valid PT license for the state of New Jersey
  • Experience working as a physical therapist in school settings (preferred)
  • Ability to fulfill all NJ requirements prior to start, including:
    • Completion of a TB test
    • Physical examination
    • Fingerprinting for educational employment
  • Willingness to attend a virtual (Zoom) interview
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a multi-site, district-level role with students of all ages (K-12)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapeutic services to students to help them achieve their physical potential within the educational environment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs and school policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to ensure student progress
  • Support students’ functional mobility and motor skills throughout daily school routines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress documentation, and ongoing professional development as required
