Make a difference across multiple schools as a Physical Therapist working with K-12 students district-wide. This full-time contract opportunity runs from September 4, 2026, through June 25, 2027, offering 35 hours each week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:15 PM. Based near Paterson, NJ, this role allows you to provide essential services to students throughout several locations, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey is required.
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable traveling between multiple schools within the district.
  • Ability to complete/obtain New Jersey-specific onboarding requirements:
    • TB test
    • Physical examination
    • Fingerprinting (for both the staffing agency and the school district)
  • Ready to participate in a virtual interview (Zoom) as part of the hiring process.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills for working district-wide across grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring to students in grades K-12.
  • Collaborate with special education and classroom teachers to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Travel between multiple schools as needed, adapting to different educational settings.
  • Keep accurate records and communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administrators.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that encourages students to reach their physical development goals.
