If you are enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of students and enjoy a collaborative school environment, consider this contract opportunity to assist learners across various educational levels for the upcoming school year. Multiple positions are available, beginning August 31, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with full-time, school-year schedules. Assignments span high school, middle school, elementary, and kindergarten classrooms. Schedules and hours vary slightly by educational level, providing diverse opportunities for qualified candidates.

Key Qualifications:

  • RI Teacher Assistant (TA) Certification or CNA with relevant experience in school settings
  • Comfortable working closely with students in classroom environments, assisting educators, and providing general or specialized support
  • Positive communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Professional demeanor and adaptability across different age groups and academic needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with daily classroom tasks, assignments, and social-emotional development
  • Assist classroom teachers with instructional and non-instructional duties, adapting to various grade levels as assigned
  • Foster a supportive environment for all learners, including those with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Supervise students during transition times, lunch, or recess depending on grade level and daily schedules
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, or activities as directed by teaching staff

Openings exist for high school (8:00–2:15), middle school (7:05–2:00), elementary (8:30–3:00 or 9:15–3:30), and kindergarten (8:30–3:00) staff, with assignments averaging 32 hours weekly, Monday through Friday.
