Take your Speech-Language Pathology expertise to the next level in a dynamic school-based setting! This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students in grades 3 through 5 while working with a supportive educational team.

Located in the Rochester, NY area, this position is perfect for SLPs passionate about pediatrics, education, and teletherapy integration. The schedule runs 35 hours per week, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., following the normal school year calendar.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) Certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Previous experience working with pediatric and school-age populations
  • Familiarity with teletherapy a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized speech and language therapy aligned with students’ IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, generate progress reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students’ communication needs
  • Integrate technology and evidence-based practices to enhance therapy delivery
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students
