Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K–12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis for the academic year. This role offers the chance to make a direct impact by providing speech and language therapy services across multiple schools, with travel time paid. You'll collaborate with a supportive team and participate in paid meetings and administrative tasks under a workload model designed for both structure and flexibility.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid NY State SLP licensure and TSSLD required
  • Open to both Clinical Fellows (CFYs) and experienced SLPs (CCC)
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to travel between assigned schools within the district

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K–12 students, adapting to diverse needs
  • Complete evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing assessment and progress monitoring
  • Engage in paid administrative tasks, training, and team meetings as part of indirect hours
  • Utilize provided resources, with IEP system training available
  • Support school initiatives aimed at enhancing student development
