Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in an educational setting. You'll serve a dynamic caseload of up to 40 sessions per week (each session 30 minutes), providing direct intervention, assessments, and support as students achieve their communication goals. Your expertise will help shape a positive, growth-focused experience for learners.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Current, valid New York State license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • New York Education Certification required
  • Previous experience in a school environment, preferably delivering direct services to children and adolescents
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff
  • Familiarity with IEP process, progress monitoring, and special education documentation preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and create individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver engaging therapies for a diverse range of student needs using evidence-based strategies
  • Maintain thorough records and compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents on student progress
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to team planning for student success
