Make a meaningful impact as an onsite Speech Language Pathologist, providing vital support to students in a school-based setting near vibrant New York, NY. In this role, you will work 6 hours a day, Monday through Friday, managing a caseload that includes conducting 10 sessions daily, with dedicated time at the end of each day for planning or documentation. Your expertise and compassion will foster students’ growth and participation in the classroom and beyond.

Qualifications:

  • Current NY SLP License required
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • TSSLD/TSHH certification
  • Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children strongly valued
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary educational team

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct onsite speech and language therapy to students, tailored to individualized education plans
  • Administer diagnostic assessments and interpret results to identify student needs
  • Develop and document measurable goals in collaboration with educators and families
  • Provide progress updates and recommendations at team meetings
  • Maintain accurate, timely records per school and state guidelines
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices
