Embark on a rewarding opportunity to support students by delivering vital therapy services throughout a dynamic and supportive school environment. This full-time, full school-year contract role offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, serving a diverse range of mild to severe student needs. The position supports both Occupational Therapists and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, with virtual OT supervision available for eligible COTAs. All direct therapy must be provided on site in an itinerant capacity, ensuring active engagement and impact within multiple school settings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an OT or COTA (open to COTAs; must have demonstrated school-based experience)
  • Comfort and confidence working with mild to severe student needs in educational environments
  • Ability to provide high-quality direct therapeutic services in person (teletherapy/Voco not available)
  • Flexibility to travel between school sites within the region as part of an itinerant assignment
  • Collaborative approach and clear communication skills, working efficiently with teachers, families, and other professionals
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance and accurate school-based documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student goals and IEP requirements within the school setting
  • Complete timely assessments and develop functional treatment plans
  • Provide consultative support and recommendations to educators and parents
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
  • Maintain detailed documentation per school and state requirements
  • Travel as needed to different schools within the coverage area
