You'll work two days a week from now through October 31st, with the possibility of an extension for up to 6-8 weeks. Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist licensure applicable in California
  • Previous experience in school-based OT settings required
  • Background or familiarity with Home Health, Teletherapy, or general healthcare OT preferred
  • Competence in assessing, planning, and delivering intervention programs for school-aged children
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with educators, families, and support staff
  • Ability to manage time efficiently within a flexible two-day-a-week schedule
  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Conduct assessments and develop targeted intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other allied professionals to facilitate student success
  • Maintain timely records of sessions, progress, and compliance with district requirements
  • Adapt therapy services for teletherapy delivery as needed
  • Contribute to meetings and other school-related OT responsibilities over the assignment
