This role offers a unique chance to expand your skill set by working in onsite Autistic Support Rooms for a learning center, five days a week from August 2026 through June 2027, with potential for assignments to shift as needed. Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate in Special Education
  • Previous experience working in special education, particularly with autistic support preferred
  • Capable of completing all necessary Pennsylvania clearances prior to start
  • Flexibility and strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction and individualized support in Autistic Support classrooms
  • Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with staff, therapists, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in required IU trainings and maintain accurate records
