Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of Special Education teaching experience (preferably with Pre-Kindergarten)
  • Current NY State Certification in Special Education

Responsibilities:

  • Support the social, emotional, and academic development of PK-aged students in a Readiness Program
  • Develop and adapt lesson plans tailored to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with families, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Track and report student progress, maintaining accurate records
