An exciting contract opportunity awaits dedicated paraprofessionals seeking experience in school environments near Cranston, RI, with positions available across high school, middle school, elementary, and kindergarten levels. Multiple openings provide the chance to make an impact in supportive educational communities. Positions vary in schedule but all offer steady weekday hours and the rewarding experience of assisting students and educators throughout the school year.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Active RI TA Certification or a Certified Nursing Assistant credential with prior schools experience
• Ability to support students’ educational, behavioral, and social needs under the direction of certified teaching staff
• Adaptability to different grade levels and classroom environments
• Professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication skills
• Experience working collaboratively in a team-centered atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom support to students, reinforcing academic instruction and individualized accommodations
• Assist classroom teachers with educational activities and supervision duties
• Monitor student activities and support positive behavior interventions
• Facilitate a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with teaching staff, related service providers, and administration to best serve each student’s needs

Schedules & Assignments:

• High School: 8:00 AM – 2:15 PM, Monday–Friday
• Middle School: 7:05 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday–Friday
• Elementary: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 9:15 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
• Kindergarten: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday
• All roles are full academic year contracts from August 31, 2026, to June 10, 2027, at 32 hours per week.
