Speech Language Pathologist in Grand Prairie, TX

Exciting part-time opportunity available near Grand Prairie, TX for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist! Step into a supportive elementary school environment and make a direct impact by providing essential testing and therapy services to students. This contract position runs from September 1, 2026, through May 20, 2027, with a 20-hour work week focused at one campus, ensuring manageable caseloads and the chance for meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, active Texas SLP licensure required (no Clinical Fellows)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially with service plans and therapy for elementary-aged students
• Skilled in conducting student evaluations, implementing IEPs, and communicating effectively with staff and families
• Must be able to complete Texas fingerprinting requirements promptly if not already on file

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in their service plans
• Administer and interpret assessments to assist in eligibility and educational planning
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Serve as the dedicated provider for the elementary campus throughout the school year
