Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students’ success as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a dynamic educational setting. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional ready to make an immediate impact, working closely with a single school site and collaborating directly with an Occupational Therapist.

Enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, allowing for a consistent routine and work-life balance. With a full-time commitment of 35 hours per week, you’ll be part of a caring, student-centered environment focused on helping young learners reach their fullest potential. The assignment will begin on August 27th and continue until the district selects a permanent hire, providing both stability and the excitement of working in a contract capacity.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active certification as a COTA
  • Demonstrated experience working in school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow established protocols and collaborate effectively with OTs and other education professionals
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services as prescribed by the supervising OT
  • Assist with assessments, documentation, and implementation of IEP goals
  • Support students’ development of fine and gross motor skills essential for classroom success
  • Maintain detailed session notes and progress reports
  • Communicate proactively with team members and participate in school meetings as needed
