Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist or SLPA! Collaborate with a dedicated educational team close to Burnsville, MN, and make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year. This is a full-school-year role working with a manageable caseload while fostering communication skills in a dynamic school environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota SLP or SLPA license required
  • Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in school-based or clinical pediatric settings
  • Open to candidates at any career stage: CCC, CFY, or SLPA
  • Strong collaboration and organizational skills to effectively manage a caseload of approximately 40 students
  • Commitment to inclusive, student-first interventions and supportive family communications

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-8 students, targeting a range of receptive, expressive, and pragmatic communication goals
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and maintain thorough and timely documentation
  • Consult with educational staff to support language-rich environments and student success in the classroom setting
  • Attend relevant team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions to enhance student outcomes
