Step into an engaging opportunity to support student growth and communication development within a vibrant elementary school setting near Arlington, VA. This full-time role, beginning in August, offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in young learners’ lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist. With two openings available, you will collaborate with passionate professionals and deliver direct services to a diverse caseload.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP licensure for the state of Virginia or eligibility for the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive environments for students

Primary Duties:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver therapy to elementary-aged students
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to address the unique communication needs of each child
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Support generalization of communication skills across classroom and social settings
