This contract opportunity, based onsite near Stephens City, VA, runs through May 28th, 2027, and offers a consistent full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Your expertise will support school-aged learners as part of a collaborative team focused on fostering communication and academic growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current Virginia SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience providing speech-language services in K-12 school settings
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
- Skilled in screening, assessment, and intervention for speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and develop treatment plans
- Deliver targeted speech-language intervention services in accordance with IEP goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Provide educational support and resources to staff and families regarding speech-language development
- Maintain an onsite presence—this role does not support virtual or remote work
