Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state license or eligibility to obtain one for Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting or passion for working with children and adolescents
  • Comfortable with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans according to each student’s unique needs
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure coordinated educational strategies
  • Act as an advocate for speech and language services within the school community
