Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting elementary students in a dynamic school environment. This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, providing speech-language services as the sole SLP assigned to a single site. Serving approximately 45 students, you'll lead comprehensive care, including direct therapy, assessments, and active participation in IEP processes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP license required
  • Experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong background in conducting assessments, evaluations, and delivering therapy to elementary-aged students
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage a moderate caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language therapy sessions for students with diverse needs
  • Administer evaluations and standardized testing to inform service plans
  • Develop, implement, and monitor student progress on IEP goals
  • Document services and communications in alignment with district standards
  • Attend IEP meetings, collaborating closely with families and educational staff
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines for school-based practice
  • Participate in team meetings as needed; administrative and indirect time is incorporated in your schedule
