Step into an impactful school-based opportunity, working as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-5 elementary students. This contract role, extending from September 8, 2026, to June 11, 2027, offers the chance to help young learners near Minneapolis, MN reach their full communication potential within a collaborative educational environment. With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week across five days, you’ll play a key role in guiding students through their language development and supporting their academic journeys.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in speech and communication disorders
  • Current SLP licensure in Minnesota, plus active PELSB certification
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in school settings, is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with diverse student populations
  • Ability to develop effective, individualized communication interventions

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic evaluations and design therapy plans tailored to K-5 students’ speech and language needs
  • Deliver engaging individual and small group therapy sessions in accordance with each student’s IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to promote positive student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough records of student progress and prepare required documentation for ongoing assessment
  • Contribute to a dynamic, team-oriented school culture that supports children’s overall development
