Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, providing support and guidance for young learners in a vibrant PreK school environment. This full-time position runs from late August through early June, aligning with the traditional academic calendar and offering the chance to make a substantial impact throughout the school year.

Ideal candidates will possess expertise in the field of school psychology with a strong background in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with both educators and families.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Familiarity with Early Childhood/PreK student needs and developmental milestones
  • Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Experience planning and implementing evidence-based interventions
  • Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
  • Knowledge of IEP development and regulatory compliance

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth and well-being
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for PreK students
  • Facilitate interventions that address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and collaborate in developing effective supports
  • Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with school policies

Key Details:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract dates: 8/24 – 6/11
  • Work with the PreK student population in an engaging educational setting
