Make a significant impact on the lives of high school students by providing vital support as a school-based psychologist for the 2026–2027 academic year. This full-time, in-person opportunity spans from late August through mid-June, offering you the chance to work directly with students, staff, and families in an engaging and dynamic setting.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Active and valid Delaware School Psychologist licensure (must be submitted upon application)
  • Demonstrated school-based experience, preferably within high school settings
  • Proven ability to complete psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessment reports
  • Strong background in collaborative participation during IEP meetings and working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Reliable, ready to work in person on-site five days per week
  • Experience supporting high school students preferred

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to support the academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of students
  • Prepare detailed evaluation reports to inform student programming
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families as a key IEP team member
  • Participate in meetings to review evaluations, develop plans, and support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely records according to district protocols

This contract position requires 37.5 hours on-site each week, with no remote or hybrid options. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to complete district fingerprinting (with an upfront fee required). Interviews will be conducted virtually for your convenience.
