Step into a dynamic role supporting high school students as a contract School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, in-person opportunity offers the chance to make a positive impact by providing crucial social, emotional, and academic support. You’ll serve on-site in a high school environment, working alongside dedicated educators and staff to help students thrive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware School Psychologist license required (submit proof of licensure with your application)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and producing comprehensive assessment reports
  • Experience collaborating as a member of IEP teams and working with high school-aged students
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Must be available to work onsite, 5 days a week (no hybrid or remote flexibility)
  • Reliable transportation and ability to complete fingerprinting within the first days of employment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments for high school students and communicate results in clear, actionable reports
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student-focused interventions
  • Work directly with students to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support, fostering a nurturing learning environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement and well-being
