This contract position is an onsite-only role, based near Tolleson, AZ, with 20 hours per week dedicated to supporting students in a dynamic and collaborative educational environment. You’ll play an essential role in empowering students to achieve greater independence by enhancing their fine and gross motor skills, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and making a meaningful impact.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Arizona
• Experience providing OT services in schools, home health, or healthcare settings
• Proficiency in assessing and developing interventions for fine and gross motor skill development
• Previous exposure to school-based OT (preferred)
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ OT needs within the school setting and develop individualized intervention plans
• Provide direct therapy focused on fine and gross motor skills to help students meet academic and functional goals
• Work closely with teachers, aides, and related service providers to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines
• Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insight and recommendations regarding OT services
• Communicate with families about OT goals, progress, and strategies for home carryover
