Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license required
- Preferred initial certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to support students with mild to severe needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to travel to multiple sites as part of an itinerant role
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to a varied student caseload, from mild to severe needs
- Assess student abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to ensure cohesive support
- Document progress and maintain compliance with federal and state guidelines
- Support inclusive practices within the school community
- Travel between assigned school sites as a flexible, responsive resource to students and staff
