Special Education Teacher - San Francisco, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold a valid California Moderate/Severe credentials (active status required)
• Previous experience teaching in special education, particularly with early elementary students, is preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to inclusive education and individualized student success

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and modifications per IEPs for students with moderate to severe disabilities
• Coordinate and implement individualized goals and behavior plans in collaboration with the IEP team
• Foster an engaging, structured classroom atmosphere supported by three paraprofessionals
• Maintain close communication with parents, therapists, and school staff to support student growth
• Complete timely assessments, progress reports, and documentation as required
