Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Active California Moderate/Severe Special Education Teaching Credential (required)
• Experience working with high school students with exceptional needs (ESN)
• Strong classroom management and collaborative skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Effective communication with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct instruction to high school students in a mod/severe setting
• Assess students’ strengths and needs to tailor instruction and interventions
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state guidelines
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and safe learning environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Accurately document student progress and maintain required records
