The school is seeking a dedicated professional to begin as soon as possible, with the assignment extending through June 2027.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Moderate/Severe (ESN) Special Education Credential required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction and interventions to students with diverse learning needs
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update IEPs in collaboration with team members and families
  • Provide direct support in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains
  • Monitor and document student progress toward goals, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for all students
