Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a diverse K-12 student population for the upcoming school year. This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers the chance to provide essential services across a district-wide setting from August 2026 through June 2027. With a Monday through Friday schedule and 35-37.5 hours per week, you’ll play a vital role in helping students achieve their communication goals throughout the entire academic year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current SLP state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior school-based experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to independently manage a dynamic caseload
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and state compliance requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluation and therapy to students with a range of communication needs across the district
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per district and state standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student assessment processes
