Make a real difference in the lives of students by supporting their communication growth in a welcoming educational environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist who values collaboration, flexibility, and the chance to work directly with children and educators. You'll be recognized for your expertise as you provide effective speech and language services within a dynamic school setting near Cumming, GA.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Current Georgia state licensure (or immediate eligibility) as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered.
  • Previous experience or clinical placement in a school environment is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students with a variety of speech and language needs.
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of student goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress notes, and student data.
  • Provide support and resources to classroom teachers and families to promote communication development.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging therapy environment.
