Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with administrative endorsements
  • 2–3 years of proven experience working in early childhood classroom or program environments
  • Strong grasp of Illinois Early Learning Standards and ISBE guidelines
  • Effective leadership qualities including staff development and parent communication
  • In-depth familiarity with Early Intervention procedures and meeting facilitation

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Early Childhood Special Education operations from ASAP through May 27, 2027
  • Guide implementation of early intervention processes, ensuring compliance with state protocols
  • Lead team meetings, foster collaboration, and mentor instructional staff
  • Develop communication strategies with families and district partners
  • Oversee program compliance and quality assurance initiatives
