Step into a dynamic school environment and make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming academic year! Work full-time in a contract role where you’ll have the opportunity to support students across two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school—without the need to transition between campuses during the same day. This structured schedule allows you to focus on each group of students, providing consistent and quality care according to your daily campus assignment.

Position Details:

  • Full-time assignment: 37.5 hours per week from September 1, 2026, through May 20, 2027
  • Serve students at multiple campuses, with dedicated days at each site
  • Build ongoing relationships with students and educational teams to support their success
  • Join a collaborative and welcoming special education department

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Texas SLPA license (required)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
  • Skilled in adapting communication approaches to diverse student needs
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage schedules and documentation
  • Completion of fingerprinting and drug screening required for credentialing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services as directed by supervising SLP
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in a supportive and engaging manner
  • Document student progress and collaborate in team meetings
  • Foster positive rapport with students, families, and staff
