We’re searching for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide high-quality speech and language services within a supportive school environment. This full-time position runs from September 1, 2026, through May 20, 2027, offering consistent hours and the chance to make a significant impact.
You’ll serve a carefully structured schedule, providing services at two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school—moving between campuses only on different days, with no transitions during the school day. Each campus assignment comes with a tailored caseload, ensuring you have the time and focus to support student growth and success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Texas SLPA license (required)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads across different school levels
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must complete time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprinting and drug screening
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Implement speech-language therapy plans under the supervision of an SLP
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support IEP goals
- Maintain detailed documentation and monitor student progress
- Ensure smooth transitions between weekly campus assignments
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for students
