Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license in the state of Connecticut (CT) is required
  • Previous experience in school settings is preferred, especially supporting PreK-6th grade students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with teachers, SLPs, and school staff
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic school environment and manage a varied student caseload
  • Dedicated to helping students achieve communication and academic goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with PreK-6th grade students under the supervision of certified Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Implement therapy plans and activities designed to improve students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Collect data and maintain thorough documentation of student progress and session outcomes
  • Collaborate with educators and families to ensure a well-rounded approach to student development
  • Assist with screenings, assessments, and classroom support as assigned
  • Commit to on-site services only, building strong relationships within the school community
