Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Disorders
  • Active and current California SLP licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with current evaluation tools and assistive technology for speech therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, evaluate students' speech/language abilities and determine service needs
  • Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct intervention to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to best support students’ educational goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to the team
