Job Description

Make an impact in the lives of elementary students by bringing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a supportive school environment. This full-time contract position offers the chance to work closely with K-5 students, providing essential speech and language services that foster communication skills and academic growth.

In this role, you’ll enjoy the benefits of working at a single site, giving you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with both your caseload (approximately 50 students) and school staff. You’ll be actively involved in developing individualized education plans (IEPs), delivering evidence-based therapy, and collaborating with teachers and families to support student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based settings, especially supporting K-5 populations
  • Solid skills in developing and implementing IEPs
  • Excellent organization and communication abilities
  • Enthusiastic about working on-site (teletherapy is unavailable for this role)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy to K-5 students
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Conduct assessments, develop reports, and play an active role in the evaluation process for new and existing students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support educational outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
