Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Hubert, NC

This full-time contract position offers the chance to work closely with K-5 students, providing essential speech and language services that foster communication skills and academic growth.

You’ll be actively involved in developing individualized education plans (IEPs), delivering evidence-based therapy, and collaborating with teachers and families to support student progress.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience or strong interest in school-based settings, especially supporting K-5 populations
• Solid skills in developing and implementing IEPs
• Excellent organization and communication abilities
• Enthusiastic about working on-site (teletherapy is unavailable for this role)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy to K-5 students
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Conduct assessments, develop reports, and play an active role in the evaluation process for new and existing students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support educational outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
