Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students across K-12 settings as a Speech-Language Pathologist. In this contract position, your expertise will help fulfill key spot fill needs within a welcoming and resourceful educational environment.

This full academic year position offers stability and flexibility, as both full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time schedules will be considered. The role involves working with a variety of caseloads, including moderate to severe needs in a high school self-contained classroom, as well as providing itinerant services at multiple sites—all of which offer you the chance to make a significant impact.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Active Maryland SLP license
  • Experience in Maryland schools preferred
  • Comfortable providing support in both self-contained and itinerant settings
  • Able to adapt to the evolving needs of diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to district and state standards
  • Manage caseloads across multiple school sites
  • Serve as a vital resource in a supportive, team-focused district
