Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license for Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience in Maryland school settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, student-centered approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy to a K-12 caseload, with a focus on spot fill needs across various schools
- Serve high school students in a self-contained, moderate-to-severe environment
- Deliver itinerant speech therapy services at multiple school locations within the district
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations, and district guidelines for school-based SLP services
