Make a meaningful difference every day by supporting students’ academic and emotional well-being as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational community near Quincy, MA. This full-time, contract opportunity empowers you to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success in a supportive school setting.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (state-specific, or eligibility to obtain)
  • Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience with psychological assessments, behavioral interventions, and developing IEPs
  • Knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI), Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and special education law (IDEA)
  • Strong consultation, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
  • Collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, and families

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to create, review, and monitor IEPs and 504 plans
  • Provide direct counseling and mental health support for individual students and small groups
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support classroom strategies and student progress
  • Deliver staff and parent training on relevant topics, such as mental health awareness and behavioral techniques
  • Assist with crisis prevention, intervention, and postvention activities
  • Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
