Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our interdisciplinary team of skilled health care professionals at our skilled nursing facility in Smithtown!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide rehabilitation services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Develop and improve the skills needed for the daily functioning of your patients
• Accurately completes and documents all treatment procedures and functional mobility tasks in a timely manner.
• Provides education on selected treatment procedures and functional activities to patients, their families, and other healthcare providers.

Qualified applicants must:

• Be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
• Hold licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of New York
